Cordia Barnes Camel of Spiro, Oklahoma was born May 26, 1923 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Walter Louis and Ida Vian (Fitzgerald) Dunlap, and passed away April 9, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 94.
She is survived by her son Ronnie Barnes and wife Lisa of Spiro, Oklahoma, fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Cordia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edison Barnes, daughter, Doris Perkins, three sons, Doyle Barnes, Ray Barnes, and James Barnes, sisters, Lucille Ray, Stella King, and brother, Haskell Dunlap.
Ms. Camel was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Spiro, Oklahoma. She loved to cook and sew, and she loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at New Hope Cemetery with Reverend Robert Hill officiating.
Viewing will be 9 am - 1 pm Thursday and Friday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
