Dora Nell Hall of Howe, Oklahoma was born October 21, 1922 in Cowlington, Oklahoma to Redman Marion Brigance and Lou Ada (Taylor) Brigance and went home to be with Jesus September 11, 2017 in Howe, Oklahoma at the age of 94.


She is survived by:

Linda Watts and husband Garland of Howe, Oklahoma
Sharon Goodman of Troutdale, Oregon
Mattie Crouch and Husband Jim of Monroe, Oklahoma

Five sons:
Joe Hayden Hall and wife Linda of Howe, Oklahoma
Paul Hall and wife Inez of Howe, Oklahoma
Liniel Hall and wife Vicki of Dardanelle, Arkansas
Samuel Hall and wife Gayle of Howe, Oklahoma
Roy Hall of Zoe, Oklahoma

One sister, who is 101 years old:

Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dillard Hall; three sons in law, John Ellison, Curtis Faulkenberry, and Bill Weaver; one grandson, Ryan Crouch; and one life-long friend of the family, Jimmy Dean Oliver.


She was a life-long resident of Howe and was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Howe, which she attended regularly until her recent declining health no longer allowed.


Dora was an avid reader, which included her daily Bible reading.


She enjoyed regularly handwriting letters and sending occasion cards. Dora also loved visiting with her family and friends. She loved her Strong Garrett Snuff and her family in that order. Dora was a loving mom, granny and great granny.


Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Springhill Baptist Church in Howe, Oklahoma with Son Joe Haydon Hall and Reverend David Hardin officiating.


Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.


Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.


Viewing will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the family visiting with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
