Jacquelyn Sue Johnston Pahlon Featured

On Sunday, July 14, 2019 Jacquelyn Sue Johnston Pahlon passed away at home in Wister at the age of 76. Sue, Jackie Sue, Subie, Mom or Granny (depending upon when you knew her) was born June 6, 1943 to Oliver and Johnnie Belle (Patrick) Johnston. She was a stay-at-home wife and mother, worked in the banking industry, worked for the Latimer County Jail, and retired from Motel 6 as a manager. 


May 3, 1962 she married Fred Pahlon, the love of her life, and enjoyed 53 years together. Sue loved her family, the Rocky Point community, gospel music, getting her nails done, the color purple, Diet Coke, talking to anyone and everyone, Fiddler on the Roof, and Boomer & Sooner, but not necessarily in that order. 


She is survived by her son Allen Pahlon and wife Christal of Waco TX. Daughter Genia Harber of Wister OK. Brother O.B. Johnston and wife Cynthia of Rocky Point. 5 grandchildren-Drew Harber and wife Anne, Norman OK. Devan Harber, Sulphur Springs TX. Kali Pahlon Austin TX. Dylan Harber US Army. & Cody Pahlon Austin TX. 5 great-grandchildren Avery, Bonnie, Dominic, Callie, and Olivia. Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and loved ones. 


She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Pahlon, parents Oliver & Johnnie Johnston, uncle James Johnston, and sister Nita Littlejohn.


Funeral services are under the direction of Jones-Harkins Funeral home and will be graveside on Tuesday 10 am, July 16, 2019. Wilburton City Cemetery, Wilburton OK.
