Roy Eugene Loggains, 74, of Poteau, OK, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 in Poteau, OK following a long, hard fought illness.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents Roy H. Loggains and Imogene (Kirkley) Loggains, and his oldest granddaughter Saylor Slone.

Lovingly known as "Pop", Roy took extreme pride in his grandchildren and family was his proudest accomplishment.

Roy loved his career in the oil field and working in various parts of the world. He took cues from no one and always stated exactly what was on his mind.

When asking Roy if he would do anything different in life he said "absolutely nothing. If I wanted to do something I did it and I've done everything I ever wanted to do." Roy did things his own way.

Roy Loved life and people, but his legacy is his family and generosity. Roy placed very little value on material things and was content with a good pair of cowboy boots and of course his tobacco.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends but never forgotten by anyone he had ever met.

Roy leaves behind his wife of 50 years Anna; daughter Charity; 2 sons Joey Loggains and wife Kim, Dustin Loggains and wife Tasha; Grandsons Dylan, Dawson, Dalton and his wife Hannah, and Aiden; Granddaughters Taegan, Savannah Rayne, Arianna, Alivia, and Sasha; Great Grandson Jameson Roy Loggains; Brother Dale Loggains and wife JoAnn; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Graveside Services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Vaughn Cemetery in Gilmore, OK with Michael Monroe and Jim Cook officiating.
