Sherrie Lee Christensen Obituary Featured

Sherrie Lee Christensen, 73, of Spiro, OK, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in Fort Smith, AR.


She was born August 30, 1944, in Great Falls, MT to Harry Lloyd Huntley and Geraldine Beatrice Huntley.


She was tax preparier at H&R Block.


Sherrie is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother John Huntley.


Survivors include, her husband Jerry Christensen, of the home, two sons, Duane and Tammie Christensen, of Spiro, OK, Jason Christensen of PineBluff, AR, four grandchildren, Garett, Kade, Hannah and Emma Christensen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members, friends, and loved ones.


Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Poteau, Oklahoma, with President Bob Owens officiating.


Family will greet friends Wednesday June 13, 2018 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grace Manor Funeral Home.


Interment will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, Oklahoma.


Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
