Arkansas man injured in accident west of Vian in Sequoyah County Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a Farmington Arkansas man was injured in in a one vehicle accident that occurred at 12:11am on Dec 7, 2017 on Interstate 40, at mile marker 295 eastbound, two miles west of Vian in Sequoyah County.

 

According to the report, a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by Jacob McRorey 33, from Farmington, Arkansas was traveling eastbound on I40 when the departed the right side of the roadway striking a culver with the passenger side of the vehicle. After impact the vehicle went airborne and rolled one-half time coming to rest on its top in the roadway.


McRorey was ejected approximately twenty-five feet from vehicle.

 

McRorey was transported by Mediflight to St.John Hospital in Tulsa and was admitted in critical condition with a head injury.

 

The accident was investigated by OHP.
