The second Guided Back Roads History Tour is scheduled for February 16, 2019 with a bad weather date set for the following Saturday, February 23rd.

This tour includes: cemeteries (one with cone graves and several dating from the 1800s), three forgotten towns, rural school buildings or locations, remains of a Choctaw Girls’ Academy, original site of the Choctaw Nation Council House, famous poet’s home and grave.


Also a Historic Bridge and area history are included in this tour. Transportation, a Guide and Lunch will be provided.


We know time is short so get your entry in as soon as possible.


We need at least 5 people to make this tour.
