Press release

Scouts, BSA Troop 30 from the Poteau area gathered at Carl Albert State College on Tuesday morning to retire CASC’s American flag.

When the American flag becomes worn, faded or badly soiled, it is time to replace the flag with a new flag and retire the old flag with all the dignity and respect befitting our nation’s flag.

The ceremony featured the troop color guard as they officially retired the old flag and hoisted a new flag in its place, while the rest of the troop stood respectfully at attention.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, troop scouts gathered with CASC representatives for a group photo.
