CASC Hosts 2019 LeFlore County Academic Bowl Tournament

Carl Albert State College hosted the LeFlore County Academic Bowl Tournament sponsored by the LeFlore County Bar Association on March 9 at the Poteau campus. Five schools from LeFlore county were on campus to compete in various educational categories. CASC Hosts 2019 LeFlore County Academic Bowl Tournament

Carl Albert State College hosted the LeFlore County Academic Bowl Tournament sponsored by the LeFlore County Bar Association on March 9 at the Poteau campus. Five schools from LeFlore county were on campus to compete in various educational categories. 

Schools in attendance were LeFlore, Panama, Howe, Cameron, and Bokoshe.

Overall Academic Bowl Tournament Results for 2019 are listed below:

 

First place – LeFlore Public Schools
Mrs. Laura Earls, Assistant Coach; Marshall Barnett; Luke Lloyd; Payton Brown; Mr. Wesley Williams, Head Coach; Christopher Loyd; Makinsie Pebley; Joslyn Bridgeford; and Beau Hettinger.

Second place – Howe Public Schools
Connor Morris; Nicholas Ford; Karli Dedmon; Michael McMahon; Reagan Kardokus; Chesney Barfield; and Arizona Gullick.

“Our chapter is so thankful for the support of our CASC family and the LeFlore County Retired Educators,” Hill stated.  “Our students have worked incredibly hard this past year, and I am so proud to see them recognized for their work and dedication. We are already making plans for a great 2019 – 2020.”
