Howe High School Reunion/Banquet scheduled for Saturday May 20th Featured

Howe High School  REUNION/BANQUET: will be held Saturday, May 20th, 2017 (the 3rd Saturday in May), at Howe Public Schools.

 

All graduates, former classmates, teachers, staff, and their families are cordially invited to attend.

 

This event will be first come first served, meal tickets are $15 each and will be collected at the door.

 

The doors will open at noon at the Cafeteria and will remain open throughout the day.

 

The meal will be served from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., and reunion attire will be casual.

 

The meal will consist of: • Smoked Brisket • Potato Salad • Baked Beans • Rolls • Dessert • Drinks. (Decoration at the Howe Cemetery is Sunday, May 21st) Officer elections and a town hall will be held at 6pm.


CLASS MEETINGS: Everyone is welcome to schedule individual meetings on their own, however we will host a group gathering in the cafeteria starting at noon if you would rather just visit with everyone.


SCHOOL TOURS: Our Superintendent, Mr. Scott Parks will offer tours of the entire campus for anyone interested in seeing the campus and hearing the plans for change.

 

We encourage you to share stories along the way of your memories in each building/area. All tours start and end in the cafeteria.


COMMUNITY EVENTS: Watch for information on the Alumni Facebook Page or contact Vickie Lockhart Jirash for information.

 

SEEKING ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS: We award two $500 scholarships each year so we must raise or collect a minimum of $1,000 each year (that’s $2,000 by each banquet since it’s only every two years). These donations will be accepted at any time during the event weekend and may be given to any of the following Alumni officers prior to the event: Mary Parham, Jay Neugin, Ronny Blake, Mandy Ollar or Keith Luton.
