KTC Welcomes Lynch to Team Featured

The Kiamichi Technology Centers has hired Melyssa Lynch as its General Fund Secretary for the Poteau & Spiro Campuses.

Lynch is a 2014 graduate of Heavener High School and recently completed her Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern State University (NSU) with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Humanities. While attending NSU, Lynch worked at Tahlequah Lumber Company as the weekend Office Manager, assistant to the finance manager and accountant, and was a member of the sales team.

Lynch is the daughter of Terry and Diane Lynch of Heavener. She has two siblings: Malory and Seth Michael. Her hobbies include hanging out with her sister and friends, playing soccer with her brother, reading, spending time at Lake Eufaula, snow skiing and watching crime shows and documentaries. She is also a Harry Potter enthusiast.

To fulfill her desire to help people and try new things, Lynch is a member of the Delta Phi chapter of the Delta Zeta Sorority and received the Riverhawks Initiating Service and Engagement (RISE) scholarship at NSU. Lynch stated, “I am excited to work at KTC and learn the day to day workings of a technical school and how KTC helps our communities.”

Kiamichi Technology Centers has been an integral part of the communities in southeastern Oklahoma since 1968, serving ten full counties and parts of three other counties. KTC is part of the Oklahoma CareerTech system and is one of 29 districts within the state. KTC has more than 30 career programs, and offers a wide variety of evening and weekend short-term courses as well as certifications in many diverse career fields.


KTC serves nearly 23,000 individuals each year, including many area companies who receive training through the Business and Industry Services Division that works with over 400 businesses each year.
