Press release

Northeastern State University Business and Technology Professors have visited Carl Albert State College Business students recently to share the opportunities available to them if they transfer to NSU upon their graduation from CASC.

Dr. Justin Harlpern joined Dr. Dilene Crockett to speak with nearly 40 CASC business students in March. CASC Business and Technology Division Chair Bill Gann, CASC Accounting instructor Hali Repass, and CASC Business instructor Jack Armstrong joined the group for a candid and informative session.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the various business majors NSU offers and what the different programs of study entail. They were encouraged to ask questions about campus in general, class sizes, potential career opportunities upon their graduation and what the job market looks like for business graduates.

“This was an incredible opportunity for our students,” Hali Repass said. “We are so encouraged and excited about the future for our students when they graduate from CASC. I’m so proud of our students and the way they engaged with the university professors. It’s apparent they are eager to learn more about their opportunities as they prepare to move into the university setting.”

Other NSU professors will arrive on CASC’s campus on April 4 for an informative lunch with prospective business students who have plans to transfer to NSU for the fall semester.

The faculty and staff of CASC are thankful to the professors of NSU for taking the time to develop relationships with our students and further CASC’s mission to put student-success as the top priority.

If you or someone you know is interested in CASC’s Business and Technology division and would like to learn more about how you can earn your degree in a supportive environment, contact Hali Repass at 918-647-1222 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
