Poteau, OKLAHOMA - Reception to Honor Poteau Mayor Jeff Shockley


The city of Poteau hosted a reception on Friday, April 12, 2019 for outgoing Mayor Jeff Shockley.


Shockley who served for 5 years on the Poteau City council and spent the last 20 years of serving the city of Poteau as Mayor has started a new adventure selling real estate.

 

Shockley was given a Citation from State Representative Lundy Kiger and State Senator Mark Allen and city councilman Clay Bennett presented him a plague as well as a BBQ Grill and a hand gun in a case with the inscription saying:


“Thank you for your many years of service to the people and the city of Poteau” 1999 -2019.


Shockley thanked his two families- His personal family, wife Connie and his children and his “city” family. “I could not have done this without their support.”
