Poteau Patrolman Robert Johnston completed the #okcmemorialstairclimb.

During the climb Patrolman Johnston noticed a firefighter having trouble.

Patrolman Johnston offered his help and carried the air apparatus for 70 stories of the 110 story climb. #oneteam

Patrolman Johnston also stopped to take a photo with the members of the Poteau Fire Department who also completed the climb.

The memorial climb is to remember the first responders who gave the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11 in NYC.

343 firefighters and 61 police officers died that day (and many more in the following years from illness related to ground zero) attempting to rescue those trapped in the World Trade Center.

Each participant is given the name of a responder who died that day, Patrolman Johnston was given the name of Port Authority Officer Robert Cirri Sr. #WeRemember #NeverForget
