Bokoshe Man injured in accident on US271 in LeFlore County Featured

At approximately 7:05 am on October 9, 2017, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were dispatched to an accident that occurred on Highway 271, three miles west of Pocola in LeFlore County.

According to the OHP, the accident involved a 2007 Peterbilt, driven by Irby Sebo 63, of Spiro and a 1997 Ford F-150, driven by Beau Tackett 37, of Bokoshe.

The accident occurred when the Peterbilt failed to yield from a private drive while make a left turn onto US271.

Tackett was pinned for approximately 45 minutes before being freed by Murry Spur Fire Department with the use of the Hurst tool.

He was transported by LeFlore County EMS to Sparks Hospital in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

He is listed in critical condition with truck internal, legs, and head injuries.
