One dead in head on collision in Haskell County Featured

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol report that a fatality collision occurred on Nov 11, 2017 at approximately 6:30pm on State Highway 9, three miles East of Stigler in Haskell County.

 

The accident occurred when a 2010 Chevrolet Impala driven by Miranda Harper 20, of Enid, OK.

 

was westbound on SH-9 behind a vehicle. The driver of the Impala changed lanes to pass the vehicle on a hill and met a 2006 Dodge Ram driven by Justin Moore 21, of Stigler and they two vehicles hit head on.

 

Moore was transported to Mercy Hospital in Ft. Smith by Pafford EMS and was listed in stable condition with arm and leg injuries.

 

A passenger, Sierra Grant 18 of Stigler was transported to Mercy Hospital in Ft. Smith by Pafford EMS and is listed in stable condition with arm and leg injuries.


Harper was pronounced deceased at the scene by Pafford EMS.


Investigated by OHP, Haskell County Sheriff’s Department, Stigler PD, McCurtain PD, Keota First responders and Southside FD.
