One injured in wreck on 1-40 near Seminole Featured

According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a one vehicle injury accident occurred on August 11, 2017 at approximately 7:47 am on I-40 near the 202 mile marker westbound, 8.5 north of Seminole in Seminole County.

 

According to the report, a 1992 Chevy Blazer driven by Brenda Mona, 53, of Chloride, Arizona was westbound on I-40, left the roadway to the left, overcorrected, then overcorrected again to the right and left the roadway to the left rolling approximately three times before coming to rest on with the right side up.


A passenger Viola Cook, 79, of Chloride, AZ was transported by React EMS to Seminole Hospital. She was later transferred to OU Medical in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk external and internal injuries.


The accident was investigated by OHP.
