One killed after being hit by Train in Muldrow Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, at 11:22am, on Feb 8, 2018, a pedestrian was killed from injuries he sustained after being hit by a train on East 1100 road and Gibbons Lane in Muldrow.

 

 

According to the report, the pedestrian was walking westbound on the tracks and a Union Pacific train, (two engines and 90 cars) operated by Brian Williams 44 of Van Buren, was also traveling westbound, saw the pedestrian and blew the horn several times to alert the pedestrian.

 

 

The pedestrian acknowledged the train but did not step off of the tracks.

 

 

Pedestrian was thrown from the tracks to the south.

 


The name of the pedestrian has not been released at this time and the accident is still under investigation.
