Tahlequah woman life flighted after accident Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, one woman was life flighted from a automobile accident that occurred on July, 16, 2017 at approximately 2:42pm on Burchett Rd, approximately one mile west of Tahlequah in Cherokee County.


According to the report, a 2008 dodge 1500, driven by Dylan Taylor 19, of Tahlequah Oklahoma was westbound Burchett road when the vehicle departed the roadway left struck a tree and then rolled.

He was transported by NHS to Northeastern Health System where he was treated and released.


A passenger, Kelly Ridenhour 19, of Tahlequah, was transported by Tulsa Life Flight to St. John in Tulsa and was admitted with arm, leg, and trunk injuries.


A 17-year-old passenger of Tahlequah was transported by NHS EMS to Northeastern Health System in Tahlequah, Ok. Treated and released for arm injuries.


Investigated by the OHP, the Cherokee Nation EMS, Northeastern Health System EMS, and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department.
