Talihina man injured in motorcycle accident in Pushmataha County Featured

On January 7, 2018, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene of a motorcycle accident that occurred on State Highway 144 at approximately 1:40 am, approximately 10 miles south of Clayton in Pushmataha County.


According to the report, a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Ross Johnson, 47, of Talihina, was westbound on SH144 and ran off the roadway.

Johnson was transported by Air Evac to St Francis Hospital in Tulsa with leg, arm, and trunk-internal injuries and was listed in stable condition.


According to the report the condition of Driver: Odor of alcohol.


The accident was investigated by OHP and the Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Office.
