Trucker Injured in accident in McIntosh County Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, an injury collision occurred Nov 8, 2017 at approximately 6:00 am on the Indian Nations Turnpike at mile marker 99.3, approximately 7 miles north of Hanna in McIntosh County.


According to the report, a 2007 Peterbuilt semi-truck, driven by Steven Tate 47, from Sulphur Springs, TX was northbound on the Indian Nations Turnpike, when the vehicle exited roadway to the left, and then rolled twice before coming to rest on its wheels.

Tate was pinned in vehicle for approximately one hour before being extricated by Henryetta Fire and Rescue using the Hurst Rescue Tool.


He was transported by Okmulgee County EMS to Henryetta ER where he is listed in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.
