Two injured in morning accident in Sallisaw

At approximately 8:01 am, on March 20, 2017, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene of an Injury collision that occurred on State Highway 17 and County Road 1050, one mile north of Sallisaw, OK in Sequoyah County.

 

According to the report, a 2011 Chevrolet pickup driven by Shannon Wann 39, of Sallisaw, failed to stop at stop sign and was struck by a 2012 Ford pickup driven by Hunter Randolph 24, of Sallisaw.

 

Wann was transported by Pafford EMS to Spark’s Hospital in Ft. Smith and was admitted in stable condition with neck and lower back injuries.

 

A passenger, Richard Wann 47, of Hurricane, West Virginia was transported by Pafford EMS to Spark’s Hospital in Ft. Smith and was admitted in stable condition with neck and lower back injuries.

 

The accident was Investigated by Trooper Joshua Blake of the Sequoyah County Detachment and assisted by Sallisaw Police Department and Pafford EMS.
