Baker Mayfield threw for four touchdowns and ran for another as Oklahoma won for the 20th time in its last 21 Big 12 games in a 49-27 outcome against Texas Tech. Mayfield was 22-for-34 for 281 yards while rushing for another 20 yards.


The win was OU’s sixth straight against Texas Tech, and the Sooners surpassed 38 points against the Red Raiders for the eighth consecutive year.


Rodney Anderson ran for a career-high 181 yards on 24 carries (7.5 average) and a touchdown, while fellow sophomore Abdul Adams returned after missing two games due to injury to rush for 95 yards on 10 carries (9.5 average). Tech entered the game allowing just 135 rushing yards per contest, but allowed 336 tonight.


CeeDee Lamb set OU freshman records with nine receptions and 147 yards while hauling in a pair of TD catches. Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown also registered TD receptions.


Ogbonnia Okoronkwo finished with a team-high 10.0 tackles (1.0 sack) and Caleb Kelly recorded his first-career interception.


After giving up 20 points and 211 yards in the first quarter (10.0 per play), OU gave up seven points and 226 yards the rest of the game (4.6 per play).


The Sooners travel to face Oklahoma State next Saturday at 3 p.m. CT in a game televised by FS1. OU owns an 86-18-7 (.806) all-time record against the Cowboys and is 39-7-5 (.814) in Stillwater.
