RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the league’s Players of the Week for the fourth week of the women’s soccer season. Southwestern Oklahoma State’s Alimata Rabo scored the Offensive award while Oklahoma Baptist’s Jennifer Goethe and Emly Griffith earned the Defender and Goalkeeper honors.

GAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Alimata Rabo, Southwestern Oklahoma State, F, Jr., Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso

Rabo overtook the national lead in goals and points as she netted six goals and tallied 13 points in dominating wins against Northwestern Oklahoma State and East Central. She scored twice and added an assist against the Rangers. She amassed four first-half goals against the Tigers, the eighth hat trick of her career.

Goethe helped the Lady Bison open 2-0 in GAC play as they registered a pair of home victories. In Thursday’s 2-1 win against Harding, she anchored a defense that allowed 11 shots.
