Wilburton Woman dies from injuries from a car crash in Latimer County Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol one woman has died from the results of an injury collision that occurred on December 23, 2017.

The accident occurred one mile south of Wilburton, in Latimer County at approximately 2:12am.

According to the report, a 2002 Nissan Altima, driven by Thasha Prindle 21, from Wilburton, was southbound on Parr Ave, swerved left and departed the roadway and striking a house.


Prindle was transported by Pafford EMS to Latimer County General Hospital in Wilburton where she was medically cleared, then transported by Trooper Kyle Ward to the Latimer County Jail.

Trooper Ward advised Prindle had expired at unknown time on December 24, 2017 while in a jail cell at the Latimer County Jail.


According to the report, the condition of the driver was Alcohol – DUI / DWI.

Seat belts were not in use.

Investigated by Trooper Kyle Ward, of the LeFlore county detachment of Troop D.
