The Cameron Middle School archery team earned as strong third place finish in Chandler, competing in one of the toughest archery tournaments in the state.
The Yellowjackets scored 3,226 and 8th grader Jake Cauthen finished fourth among middle school males in bullseye and was the 3D champion.
The middle school team is currently ranked 3rd in the state and 9th nationally.
The Cameron High School team is currently ranked 8th in the state.
Chandler was the first state qualifier for the Yellowjackets.
The elementary, middle, and high school teams will compete next in the Shady Point tournament in January.
