The sixteenth-annual Cherokee Nation – Carl Albert State College Scholarship Scramble is set for Saturday, May 19 at Shadow Creek Country Club in Sallisaw, Okla.
The four-person team, 18-hole scramble will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and tee-off at 9 a.m.
Golfers will have the opportunity to help provide scholarships to area students attending CASC through their $50 per person entry fee or their $200 per team fee. The registration fee includes a golf cart, greens fees, lunch, beverages and a prize bag for each golfer.
“This event is the highlight of my year,” said Paul Marshall, event organizer. “There is no better event than a golf tournament and no better cause than funding local scholarships.”
The first-place team will receive a $600 prize, the second-place team will take home $460 prize and there will be a wild card drawing for the third-place prize of $300. Additional prizes will be awarded for longest putt, longest drive and closest to the pin.
