Funeral Service for Sandra Kay Thompson, 52 of Wister, Oklahoma will be at 10am on Monday, October 3, 2022 at The Pentecostal Church in Poteau, Oklahoma with Brother Jeff Jensen officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
She was born on November 28, 1969 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Barbara (Lucas) Montgomery and Harrell Montgomery and passed away on September 27, 2022 in Wister, Oklahoma. She was married to Terry Thompson on August 9, 1992 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jim Montgomery; father-in-law, Lester Thompson; and brother-in-law, Tobey Thompson.
Survivors include: husband, Terry Thompson; stepdaughter, Kristi Thompson; granddaughter, Kalyn Edwards; great granddaughter, Raelynn; mother-in-law, Joyce Thompson; brohter-in-law, Todd Thompson; brother, Bryan Montgomery; sister, Lisa Montgomery; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Randy Duvall, Eddie Sockey, Leon Clark, Cole Reece, Bryan Montgomery, Dakota Clark.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8pm.
