The Board of County Commissioners, LeFlore County, State of Oklahoma, met in a Regular Business Meeting on May 30, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman Cody Covey presiding. Also present were Vice-Chair Jamie Oliver, Member Vallard Campbell and County Clerk Kelli Ford.
The following action was taken by the board:
(1.) Chairman Cody Covey called meeting to order.
(2.) Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve the minutes of regular meeting held May 22, 2023. Motion was approved all voting yes.
(3.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Jamie Oliver to approve claims/purchase orders as presented. Motion was approved all voting yes.
(4.) Bonds. None presented.
(5.) Monthly Fee Reports.
(6.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve transfer of appropriations in the amount of $315,737.81 from County Commissioner restricted ARPA to Wells and Wann restricted ARPA, and $24.00 from County ARPA Maintenance and Operations to Wells and Wann restricted ARPA regarding an error correction. Motion was approved, all voting yes.

(13.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Jamie Oliver to approve corrected receiving and requisitioning officers list as submitted by the Court Clerk’s office. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(14.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve resolution allowing County Treasurer to reinvest surplus of County Health Department funds for June, 2023. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(15.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Jamie Oliver to approve service agreement between LeFlore County Clerk and Cintas for automated external defibrillator (AED) purchase. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(16.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Jamie Oliver to approve ACCO-SIF (workers compensation) quote for fiscal year 2023-2024, one payment option in the amount of $134,027.00. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(17.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve Southeast Oklahoma Library System 2023 Revised Budget. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(18.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve service agreement regarding Detention Center between LeFlore County and ROCMND Area Youth Services Inc. for 23-24 fiscal year juvenile detention services. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
