Linn Austin Terry of Howe, Oklahoma was born October 10, 1996 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Chris Alan and Carla (Ritter) Terry and passed away on December 16, 2023 in Monroe, Oklahoma at the age of 27.

Lane Terry and wife Rebecca of Howe, Oklahoma

His maternal grandmother:

Christine Ritter-Gregory of Howe, Oklahoma

Two nephews and one niece:

Carson Hamlin, Rhett Terry, and Adlynn Terry

Numerous other loved ones and a host of many friends  

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Ritter; and his paternal grandparents, Nub and Inella Terry. 

Linn was a 2015 graduate of Howe High School. He worked as a Grater Inspector for West Fraser Sawmill in Mansfield, Arkansas. Linn was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church, the National Archery Association, and won state trap shooting. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and dearly loved riding his Harley Davidson. Linn was very outgoing and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all whom loved and knew him. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the First Missionary Baptist Church Gymnasium in Howe, Oklahoma with Brother Larry Stacy and Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma. 

Pallbearers will be: Eric Blaylock, Rudy Wilson, Jordon Key, Jace Terry, Cody Terry, James Hill, Chase Blake, and Hunter Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Clay Mayhew and Cody Edwards. 

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday; 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday; 9:00 a.m. until Noon, Saturday at the funeral home.
