Welcome to my weekly commissioners’ corner.
This past week we were able to replace several large tinhorns throughout the district. We will have two different crews out working on tinhorns this week as well. Being mindful of them will keep everyone safe.
We hauled shale to several roads throughout the district as well. I appreciate your patience if that was in your area.
Our patch crews have been out in the Leflore area patching roads. Brush hog crews start their fifth route around the county. If we have missed an area in district two that needs brush hogging please give us a call, and we will get out there and take care of it.
This next week, weather permitting, we will start blade patching Rock Jail Road. We will be working on McCullar Loop and Tankersley Road area in Bokoshe blading this week as well.
Oklahoma Department of Transportation will be chipping and sealing State Highway 82 north in Red Oak this week so expect delays as they improve roads in their department as well.
