Crappie good on hair jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure and docks. Comments: The white bass action is picking up; it can still be a little hit-and-miss. Anglers are having success catching them trolling the river channel on the upper end of the lake and from shore anywhere from Cherokee Landing upstream to Carters Landing area. They are also being caught around Horseshoe Bend, just not in great numbers yet. The white bass action should only get better this week. The big winds don’t help with the fishing but on calmer days it has been better. Catfish are good around channels and mouth of the river.
