Poteau Mayor Scotty White is pleased to announce the 3 new members of the Poteau City Council.

On April I, 2025, Poteau voters went to the polls and elected and unseated three incumbent members of the Poteau City Council.

In a special meeting held on April 14, 2025, Marc Bovos, the city Attorney, swore in the three newly elected members–Gwenda Taylor, Jon Pickel and Jarrod Ridenhour–along with David Stone who was appointed in October 2024, for Seat I Ward 3 to replace Philip Zearley who retired, Mandy Peck as City Treasurer and Tami Sprabery as city clerk
