It is with profound sadness and an enduring love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Robin Leanne Woolsey, who passed from this life July 29, 2025, surrounded by her close family and friends. Born on March 17, 1958, in Watsonville, California to Roy and Dottie (Brooks) Poole, Robins family soon decided to move to Poteau, Oklahoma, where she grew up and graduated from Poteau High School. Over the years, Robin did many things, she worked at the Old Lady on Brady, she worked for Bremner factory, read gas meters, and was Pat Pate Jr’s secretary for many years. She was also the heart of our family. She was unwavering in her strength, her warmth, and her compassion. She dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting those she loved, always placing the needs of others before her own. Whether she was preparing a family meal, offering a listening ear, or giving the best hugs in the world, her love was felt in every small gesture. Her legacy of love and patience will live on in the lives she touched and her family she held so dear. She taught us the value of grace during hardship and the importance of loving with our whole hearts.

Isaiah 58:8 NIV says “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.”

Robin was preceded by her parents Roy and Dottie (Brooks) Poole, her daughter Lori Ann Hinman, and her son Anthony Piazza.

Robin is survived by her daughters Jennifer and husband Gordon Frayne of Panama, Oklahoma and Katy Miller and husband Blake of Tulsa, Oklahoma, her son William Woolsey of Tulsa, Oklahoma, her 6 grandchildren Dakotah, Tucker, Hayleigh, Allie, McKinley, and Colton, her sisters Sandy MacDougall and husband Tommy of Blaine, Minnesota and Vickie Powell of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and her very precious furbaby for over 20 years Baby Dog, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Celebration of Life Services for Robin will be held from 5pm – 7pm on Friday, August 1, 2025, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma. The Family of Robin Woolsey welcomes anyone that would like to come and fellowship and reflect on her life.
