Danny Wayne Sanford, 65, passed away on August 23, 2025, in Fayetteville, Arkansas with his family by his side. Danny was born on April 10, 1960, in Ozark, Arkansas. Danny proudly served his country in The United States Army. Danny spent years as a truck driver, putting in many miles over the road. He also had a passion for guns. Danny was preceded in death by his father Carl Choate and his wife Starla Sanford.
Danny is survived by his mother, Joyce Choate of Spiro, Oklahoma, his brother, Billy Sanford of Panama, Oklahoma, along with numerous other family and friends.
The Celebration of Life Graveside Services will be held 1pm – Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Fort Smith National Cemetery Pavilion 522 Garland Ave. Fort Smith, Arkansas, with Mr. Scott Harrison officiating and burial to follow. The Family of Danny Sanford will greet friends from 5pm – 7pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma.
