Poteau 7th & 8th Grade Center August 2025 SOM

The Poteau 7^th & 8^th Grade Center has chosen the August Students of the Month (SOM). They are seventh graders Ellie Patterson and Ryan Lamb and eighth graders Ximena Medina Rojo and Treyston Martinez.

Ellie is the daughter of Karri and Kelly Patterson. Her electives are Media, Tween Life, and Athletics. Ellie’s favorite school memory is getting to participate in Poteau JH Softball. She is a member of Gifted & Talented and National Junior Honor Society.

Ryan is the son of Eric Lamb and Jineffer Lamb. His electives are FCS, STEM, and Media. Ryan’s favorite school memory is the time he went on a journalism field trip. He is a member of Gifted & Talented.

Ximena is the daughter of Marissa Rojo Munoz and Benigno Medina. Her favorite school memory is being in Mr. Mitchell’s 7^th grade science class with her friends.

Treyston is the son of Morgan Martinez. His electives are PE, Athletics, and Weightlifting. Treyston’s favorite school memory is playing kickball or basketball with his friends and his friend jumped over a kickball thrown at him. He is a member of National Junior Honor Society.
