RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the GAC women’s soccer players of the week for the fourth week of the season. Northwestern Oklahoma State’s Luana San Miguel won the Offensive Player of the Week award while Harding’s Skylar Henley and Maysa Willis secured the Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week honors, respectively.

#theGAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Luana San Miguel, F, Northwestern Oklahoma State, Sr., Cochabamba, Bolivia
San Miguel paced the Ranger offense in wins against Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene. She scored in the 11th minute of their 2-1 win against the Bison. In the 3-2 win against the Crimson Storm, she recorded her first brace of the season. She opened the scoring with a seventh-minute tally. She put the Rangers up 3-0 with a goal in the 47th minute.

#theGAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Skylar Henley, D, Harding, So., Bedford, Texas
Henley played the full 90 minutes in the Lady Bisons’ 1-0 home victory against East Central. She anchored a Harding backline that surrendered a season-low three shots en route to the team’s second shutout of the season. Harding extended its unbeaten streak against East Central to five.

#theGAC GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK – Maysa Willis, GK, Harding, Jr., Bentonville, Arkansas
Willis registered her first shutout of the season, and the eighth of her career, as the Lady Bisons defeated East Central, 1-0, in their conference opener. She has three shutouts in five career games against the Tigers. She lowered her goals-against average to 1.80.
