The West Coast will experience the wettest conditions, with heavier rainfall in the southern Pacific Northwest and steady showers across California and Nevada. Rainfall is scattered across the rest of the U.S.: the Desert Southwest and southern Texas may see isolated showers, while the Ohio Valley and Heartland may encounter some precipitation later in the week.
Temperatures will vary widely. The warmest air will remain over Texas, the Desert Southwest, and the Deep South, while cooler-than-normal conditions will be faced in New England, the High Plains, and much of the western United States.
