This week, we installed tin horns off Calhoun Road. Wildhorse Road is now open and complete. We worked on Jacob Road, fixing a drainage problem. This week, we are going to try and put some asphalt down on it.
If you missed the Taste of Leflore County Thursday night downtown Poteau, you missed a great event. There were tons of people and some of the best food you would find anywhere. My family and I, and my good friend, Lee Lale, were able to serve, and then of course we got to sample some of the food too. If you left hungry, it was your own fault. Thank you to everyone who participated and to David Deaton and the LeFlore County Museum for investing in the community.
Tune into KPRV 92.5 on Wednesday mornings between 7:00 A.M. and 7:10 A.M for my weekly radio commissioner’s corner. If you are not able to tune in, you can visit my YouTube channel for all past episodes at www.youtube.com/@commissionerscornerdistrict2 .
