Patricia Lavern Green, 83, of Wister, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Wister. She was born on April 27, 1942, in Red Oak, Oklahoma, to Vidella (Bales) Woodruff and Hubert Eddie Woodruff.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Woodruff; and sisters, Susie Volt and Gail Coufal.

On September 4, 1958, Patricia married the love of her life, Everett Green, in Poteau, Oklahoma. Together they shared 67 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, and faith.

Patricia had a generous heart and a nurturing spirit. She loved to cook, loved children and animals, and above all, she loved her family more than anything. Children were naturally drawn to her kind and gentle nature, and she brought joy and comfort to everyone who knew her.

Patricia was blessed to live long enough to see five generations of her family: Patricia Green, Teresa Heberbrand, Cheneen Francis, Allison Francis, and Rhys Williamson.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Everett Green; son, Eddie Green and wife Sue; daughter, Teresa Ann Green-Heberbrand; grandchildren, Preston Green, Brandon Green, Nicole Stewart, Cheneen Lucas Francis, Tonya Hagler, Chad Lucas, and Timothy Heberbrand; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life for Patricia Lavern Green will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 7th Day Church of God in Wister, Oklahoma, with Ken Stoltz and Jarrod Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Peachland Cemetery in Bengal, Oklahoma, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Evans & Miller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Hagler, Job Hagler, Preston Green, Brandon Green, Chad Lucas, and Clay Armstrong.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Timothy Heberbrand, Mason Green, and Virgil Green.
