OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 4, 2025 — The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is kicking off a powerhouse week of events celebrating Western art, culture and legacy — and members of the media are invited to capture every moment.
From trailblazing women leaders to art that walks off the walls to the induction of rodeo legends into the original National Rodeo Hall of Fame — celebrating its 70th anniversary this weekend — the lineup offers strong visuals, compelling interviews and unforgettable Oklahoma stories.
Annie Oakley Society Luncheon
Wednesday, Nov. 5 | 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.
The annual Annie Oakley Society Luncheon celebrates women leaders and philanthropists who embody the values of the iconic sharpshooter. This year’s luncheon honors Sharen Jester Turney, former CEO of Victoria’s Secret, and presents the Trailblazer Award to Courtenay DeHoff, television personality and founder of the “Fancy Lady Cowgirl” movement.

National Rodeo Hall of Fame Weekend
Friday–Saturday, Nov. 7–8
Honoring the 2025 class of inductees into the National Rodeo Hall of Fame, this two-day celebration pays tribute to the legends who shaped the sport of rodeo.
The 2025 Hall of Fame inductees are Chad Berger, Larry Allen Clayman, Joel Edmondson, Monty “HP” Evetts, Neal Gay, Bobby Goodspeed, Charlie Throckmorton and Wiley McCray.
The weekend also recognizes Mike “Hud” Hudson, recipient of the Ben Johnson Memorial Award; Lari Dee Guy, recipient of the Tad Lucas Award; and Jon Taylor, recipient of the Director’s Choice Award.
Don’t miss: The Induction Panel and Jacket Ceremony on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., when each inductee receives an official NRHF jacket — a powerful, emotional visual moment. The afternoon panel is open to all visitors with museum admission.
That evening’s Champions Dinner, Induction Ceremony and Benefit Auction (5–9 p.m.) officially welcomes the new class.
