Smitty refused to bow to anyone. He lived his life on his own terms guided by his own rules, the old school way. He believed in standing tall, speaking the truth and doing what was right.
His memory will live on through the inappropriate jokes, the stories he told and those of us who carry them to tell again and again on his behalf. He was truly a legend.

He is preceded in death by his momma, Jean Smith; his father, Ray J Smith; and his dog, Carlos.
