Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Charles was born on May 6, 1937, in Pocola, Oklahoma, to Beulah (Nichols) Tucker and Lewis Tucker, and passed away on January 3, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He married the love of his life, Minnie Mae (Duncan) Tucker, on December 7, 1958, in Pocola, Oklahoma, and they shared 67 years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Edward Tucker; and sisters Etta Lee Tackett, Edna Mae Lowery, Juanita Polk, Linda Holloway, and Jane Hope.
Charles was a wonderful musician who loved fishing, camping, and boating. He was especially known for his love of talking—he never met a stranger and could visit with anyone. Charles was proud of his time driving a tour bus for well-known entertainers including Tanya Tucker, Roy Clark, David Allan Coe, and Michael Twitty, among others. He also served as a Deputy Sheriff at the Juvenile Detention Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas, dedicating himself to public service.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Tucker of Pocola; two sons, Randy Tucker and wife Jane, and Brian Tucker and significant other Barbara Matthews; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many loved ones.
Pallbearers will be TJ Dodd, Dave King, Adam Short, Aaron Matthews, Shawn Lowery, and Shane Lowery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Kron, Colton VanMeter, and Jim Parker.
