Billy Howard Cullers, born August 27, 1960, passed away in Fort Smith, AR on January 5, 2026, surrounded by his wife and children. He was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Billy and Ronnie Cullers.

Billy graduated from Howe Public Schools in 1978. In 1987, he married the love of his life, Nicki. In August of 2025, they celebrated 38 years of marriage. Together, they made their home in Wister, Oklahoma, where they resided for 21 years.

Billy worked for Water Tech Incorporated, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. He also proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter for more than ten years.

Outside of work and service, he truly came alive doing what he loved the most—riding motorcycles alongside his wife and friends.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, his five children, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

He is survived by wife Nicki Cullers, son Earin Mulcahy and his wife Tina, along with their five children: Jake, Millie, Ellie, Allie, and Jaxson; daughter Jennifer Harger and her husband Tommy, grandson Wyatt and his wife Hali, granddaughter Katelynn Clemons and her husband Jett, and great-grandson Tripp; son Joshua Lasota and his daughters Alexxa, Brelann, and Caddynce; daughter Shaleen Glasco and her husband Bill, with their children Trey and Sunni; and son Cyle Cullers and his wife Cheyann, with their sons Ryhatt and Rowdy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Cullers; his stepfather, Steve Bastress; and his mother, Ronnie Bastress.

Billy’s life was one of connection—through family bonds, lasting friendships, service to others, shared rides down open roads, and songs sung with joy. He will be remembered for his big heart, his love of living, and the way he made the people around him feel like family.

 

A celebration of life service to honor Billy’s life will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Lamar Ford officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
