Viewing and visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on thursday, January 22, 2026 at the funeral home.
Marlin was born on October 28, 1933, in Kinta, Oklahoma, to Henryetta (Sharp) Wortham and Sargent Earl Wortham, and he passed away on January 19, 2026, in Park Hill, Oklahoma.
He was married to Sue Wortham, who preceded him in death on December 30, 1999. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his wife; daughters, Sherri Wortham and Brenda Sylvester; son, Aaron Wortham; grandson, James Wortham; and six brothers.
Marlin was a retired teacher and also retired from the Spiro Fire Department. He was well known in the Spiro community for owning and operating the domino and pool hall. He was an avid OU football fan and loved playing dominoes. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he took great pride in working, owning and maintaining several rental properties in the Spiro area. Above all, Marlin most enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his sons, Bryan Wortham and wife Alice, and Marlin Wortham and wife Jennifer; daughters, Nancy Dickman, Mary Spoon and husband Darrell; grandchildren, Misty Wortham (Jason), Susan Brand (Jay), Trina Nichols (Steven), Jennifer Byrd (Joe), Kendra Boyette (Matt), Tyler Wortham (Sophie), Wyatt Wortham, and Mason Wortham; twelve great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Stankewitz; special friends, Brad Freund, Skipper Zindler, and Randy Simmons; his beloved dog, Bo, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones, and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Wortham, James Wortham, Logan Brand, Brad Freund, Skipper Zindler, and Randy Simmons. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Brand, Jaykob Brand, Lindsey Wortham, Darrell Spoon, Zoe Adams, and Jason Dove.
