Born on January 6, 1949, in Poteau, Oklahoma, Mike lived a life rooted in family, service, and community. He deeply enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his many nieces and nephews, all of whom looked up to him. Michael was a longtime member of the Bokoshe Lions Club and had a true passion for helping others and supporting his community.
An avid sports fan, Mike was especially devoted to the Bokoshe basketball teams, faithfully attending games for many years and even being named “Fan of the Year.” He was also a lifelong supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Mike was a proud veteran who received several accommodations.
