According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a McAlester man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on September 29, 2018 at 10:29 am on Cravens road, approximately 3 miles
south Red Oak, in Latimer County.
According to the report, 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Jared Holbird 2, of McAlester, was eastbound on Cravens road when his motorcycle departed the roadway to the left and struck
a fence.
Holbird was transported by Pafford EMS to Choctaw Hospital in Talihina and later transferred to McAlester Regional in McAlester and was admitted in stable condition with leg injury.
The accident was investigated by OHP, Latimer County Sheriff’s Office, Wilburton Fire Dept. and Bengal Fire Dept.
