AJ Wilson, 71, of Monroe, passed away March 3, 2026, in Heavener, Oklahoma. AJ was born on November 12, 1954, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to parents Andrew and Wanda Wilson.
AJ enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching western films. AJ was a proud member of Monroe First Baptist Church.
AJ is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Wanda (McKinney) Wilson; his brothers, Kenith Wilson, Jackie Wilson, and Robert Wilson; and his sisters, Sue Ellen Wilson and Nancy Steelman.
AJ is survived by his son, Adam Wilson and wife Anni Wilson of Muskogee, Oklahoma, his stepson Casey Shepard of Muskogee, Oklahoma, his daughters Lasinda Wilson and partner Jon Lewman of Pryor, Oklahoma, Crystal Wilson of Spiro, Oklahoma, and Sherry Wilson of Spiro, Oklahoma, his brothers, Donnie Wilson of Daytona, Florida, Rick Wilson and wife Bonnie Wilson of Monroe, Oklahoma, his sisters, Patsy Collins and husband Steve Collins, of Monroe, Oklahoma, and Janet Yocham, of Monroe, Oklahoma, his nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The Celebration of Life Services for AJ will be held privately, at a later date, by his family.
