U.S. Representative Josh Brecheen Announces Candidacy for Third Term

April 2, 2026–Rep. Josh Brecheen (R-Coalgate) announced on Tuesday that he will seek re-election for a third term as representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District. He has committed to serve a maximum of 8 years (4 terms) in the U.S. House of Representatives and was first elected in 2022. The 2nd Congressional District covers 28 counties in the eastern part of Oklahoma.

Congressman Brecheen serves on the House Budget and Homeland Security Committees.
