Richard Clydeen Covey born February 19th, 1949, at home in Wister, Oklahoma to Clyde and Rebecca (Becky) Covey (Warlick) passed away Tuesday April 7th, 2026, in Colbert, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother CW Covey and his nephew Casey Joe Covey.
He is survived by his sister, Reba Tamplin, husband Jerry and brother Terry (Pork) Covey, wife Leslie, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren along with a slew of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at Ellis Chapel in Wister, OK, Saturday, April 11th, 2026, at 2:00 pm

WITH DOGS AND HORSES HE’S ALWAYS AROUND.

COWBOY FRIEND TALL AND LEAN.
THE BEST AROUND THE LAST OF HIS KIND,
A FRIEND GOOD AS YOU’LL FIND.
